" Hmm? " Lance paused as he felt Ace pat his shoulder before heading off to the garden with the statue. At first, he was a bit puzzled but the sound of the yells became apparent. Lance simply bite down and sighed a small bit of flame before looking away. " When did what we could....right?" he asked himself one more time. " We'll make knightfall great...even better than before. " he added.

Lance looked up at the diamond statue with hope and a bit of sadness in his heart. They had defeated their foe, saved an unknown race of winged people and avenged their master. And yet...he still felt bad they couldn't bring back their master. But like Allie and Ace, he had to remember to hold his head up high and see their master off with pride and honor.

Getting back to his feet slowly, Lance stepped forward to the statue and gave a formal bow. " May you rest in peace master and watched us become a great guild...just like you wanted..." he replied with a smile.

Lance looked at Ace as he spoke to him as if he was a commanding officer. He then looked around as the others fought for their master's honor as well as her memory. It was then his attention was brought to full swing as he felt a slight pain in his foot. A wingmn aimed for him while his mind was elsewhere. He was relieved it was just a scratch otherwise he seriously would have been in pain. Balling his fists, they were engulfed in flames and with his target right in front of him, he planned on returning the favor ten fold.

"Ace is right for a chance....i can't just sit here idle while they fight on. I need to step up my game. I'm a member of knightfall dang it and it's time you understood what it means to feel the burn......Burning dragon rapid fire barrage! " he shouted as he threw a fury of punches at the wingman that stood before him.

Lance started sweating bullets as Ace pointed out their destination. A roller coaster with three loops.....the very sight caused Lance to look at the lady who puked. His face was green at this point like he too would join her. Lucky Allie and Atzaru found a way to talk out of it.....although Lance highly doubted Ace would dress as a clown....of all things.....the thought was funny but somehow unlikely.

" I'd pay to see that. " Lance added to the group.

Lance was just too far gone to notice anything. He sat there in the rubble untouched just like the statues. Attacks missed their mark surprisingly and his teammate's voice hardly reached him. It was like he was deprived of life himself. Coming to this mission was a mistake, one in which he couldn't walk away from now. It was too late, everything in motion. He had to ride out this storm and hope to stay alive.

Without warning he was lifted into the air by some winged man and began to be sent into a flying motion. At first Lance felt nothing and then it happened.....he began puking out small flames. He then realized he was caught in motion sickness.

" Oh god.....bleh! " he exclaimed as he puked some more. Lucky for him his attacker only cut his hair. Blinking for a second he looked up and noticed how close he was. " Hey i already had a haircut but you my friend need a tan, let me help with that. " Lance stated as he sucked in air before unleashing a wild flame from his mouth. " Fire dragon roar! " he shouted as he aimed at the wingman.

Lance looked at the winged being as she made her way down the flight of stairs to greet them. The way she looked and talked made Lance question her a little bit. It was almost like she was the total opposite of the naga they had to deal with moments ago. Looking at the statues a bit, Lance was under the assumption they were others who were captured by the naga. Allie would have joined them if Thermidor hadn't stepped in. He was glad there was a lot of them here.

But back to the angel in question. Watching Ace go off the deep in like that did cause him to scratch his head lightly but he had to know why....why kill their master. He decided to ask first.

" I want to know why you did it....why did you kill our master?" he asked the girl as he remained stationary.

Well this certainly went from bad to worse in a second. The thing that came out of the water was a naga....a very attractive looking one at that. When she came into contact with Lance, his face blushed slightly completely ignoring the fact that the boys had played right into her trap. No wonder he could feel a change in his powers. That fire was infused with the most dangerous element in existence. And to add insult to injury, the naga poisoned the elements as well. Which would explain this burning in his chest.

Before he could say or do anything the naga vanished quickly and suddenly Thermidor struck where the snake was managing to hit her. Then the snake dove into the water making her harder to pinpoint. When she resurfaced, she managed to wrap herself around Allie. Gritting his teeth, Lance was just about to attack when he saw the shards of diamond stretch out in every direction injuring the naga greatly.

This was a good start but then everything went south when Ace got eaten so suddenly. To make things worse, she managed to take hold of his powers and destroyed the ground beneath them. Now in a body of water, the group was rendered powerless. That was until Hiver froze the ice and then shattered it helping them escape to solid footing.

Now it was Lance's turn. Taking note of Hiver's condition, Lance's hands were engulfed into flames as he rushed at the naga and leaped high abover her as he punched his fist together before launching a huge fireball at the naga. " Brillant Flame!" he shouted before landing on the ground.

He then coughed a bit as he felt the burning in his chest again. " ****.....even that causes damage..."he muttered to himself.

Being warped from one place to the next was something Lance had never encounted before. So the sudden change of enviroment was a bit off to him. Given the vast set of magic just laying out before them did cause him to tilt hs head slightly. Could there be something more than meets the eye? Taking a gamble, Lance stepped over to his element as he began to breath in a bit as if to test if it was ok to eat the element.

" Who knows....and we don't have much to go on either. I wonder how strong this person really is. " he added.
