The undead unfeeling monster gave a sadistic smile looking down over his prey. He ignored her insults gently pushing her hair away from her face. He knelt down placing himself over Elora as a lover would his hands keeping him up. His eyed her throbbing veins as it pumped her blood faster and faster due to a mixture of adrenaline and fear. Her blood had an irresistible smell Ace found alluring like much a conure would be drawn to a fine wine. "You've a lovely slender neck." He said running his fingers across the veins in her neck. His touch would feel cold as ice causing her skin to crawl. Before long he whispered into her ear his tone somewhat sensual. "You've a blood price to pay my beauty. Now relax and allow me to relieve you of your living burden. Your crimson life liquid calls to me." After running his fingers down her face he leans down sinking his fangs into her neck. Breaking the skin Ace's fangs sink into her veins as his eyes light up a bright vibrant blue. As the night master begins to feed the howls far off wolves could be heard saluting their master.

Elora was about to make a comment to the fire slayer but was far too preoccupied by the heap of stone sailing her way; slamming right into her and pinning her down. The entire weight of stone rested on top of one of her arm; inevitably crushing it beyond repair. Elora screamed out in agony as she desperately tried to free herself with no avail.
(Ace - 18)

It was then she glared at the vampire with a putrid expression and her blood seemed to continue to boil the longer she fought him. Suddenly Elora raised a hand to fire more light arrows at him, only to find that they missed him - but not by much. Perhaps the agony of having her arm crushed under a one tonne boulder was far too distracting for her to aim properly right now.
"You dirty, rotting ba'stard!" she spat at him as she continued to struggle.
(Elora - 17)

Hiver was certainly skilled - and his attacks were nothing to sneeze at - especially this next one that was an excellent example of his prowess.
Unfortunately, his foe was an agile bugger, for he once again dodge this attack too quite well. He seemed to grow bored and decided to take a sharp turn with his sword drawn out; stabbing Lance in the foot.

How did he miss the perfect opportunity of stabbing a vulnerable target? Sure he got him in the foot, but really this was like throwing a basketball against a barn yard wall and only just barely hitting it on the side.

Hiver-Now-Lance's Wingman - 2)

Seeing the shadow knives soaring his way the Winged Man decided to take further action of his own and being the first of Elora's servants to use magic as well.
"Celestial Radiant Arrows!" he yelled and he too sent a barrage of arrows towards Korsy, only made from light magic. The two were locked in an epic struggle between the light and the shadows, for many of these attacks collided with each other and made small explosions from the impact. Now it was a battle of stamina and power until either one pulls an interesting trick up their sleeve.

His attack hit and it hit hard as Kornelius was released and fell back down to the others. He quickly recovered from the fall and without the motion sickness he was back in action. He was about to yell that Lance needed to get himself together and keep his head in the game, otherwise he would be the next to die, but Ace handled it in a much more inspiring manner.
It was also obvious that Hiver had been majorly pissed off by one of the wingmen and he also fell into that category.
"Alright, let's put an end to this, Shadow Drive!" Once again he was enveloped in his element and his eyes completely covered, rendering the last part that showed who he was beneath the armor obscured, in their place was only his blank iris.
"Vengeance will be mine!" he threatened as he vanished into darkness, only to reappear behind the stunned servant, leaping from his its shadow, "Shadow Construct Fan of Knives!"
He twisted himself to face the winged man and as he did he made a throwing motion with both his hands, sending a barrage of small shadow throwing knives flying towards his target, intending to tear him apart and make sure he was well and truly dead.

This was getting annoying, why is this one so flipping agile and putting up a better fight than his bretheren? Either this one was more equipped with battle experience or Hiver needs some training.

"That was my favorite outfit you wannabe chicken shi,t of an angel Tundra Eagle!!!"

Hiver once again leaped into the air spreading out his arms and bringing his left knee forward in a similar formation to an "eagle" he attempts to retailiate with an ice enchanced soaring kick.

The Guild Master was Ace's anchor to this meaningless mortal existence without her his life no longer had any meaning. With his companions at his side he would have his revenge. The bats flocked together reforming his human shape. Due to the scorn of Elora's spell Ace's face suffered from several burns that slowly started to seal themselves thanks to Ace's healing factor. Ace looked over to Lance hearing his plea. "We fight for revenge! So our Master's life didn't end in vain. Remember she gave us all a home when others called us freaks and tried to lock us away for practicing forbidden magic. Knightfall is our home and she's torn away our mother. I will not fall here nor will will. Remain steadfast Lance for the fires of hell burn within you. Let your rage and anguish guide you my comrade! Dragons kill any knight who stands against them. Now be true to your nature and fight."

Using his immense vampiric strength Ace dug his claws into the ground and lifted at least one ton of stone above his head. He swung it down as hard as he could intending on crushing Elora with this strike should his blow land true.

What Lance had done was unintentional. Yes he meant to hit the guy with fire but he wasn't prepared for the aftershock as he went into free fall looking at the ashes as they were casted into the wind as he fell back to solid ground. The impact he made caused him to turn over and cough a bit. Turning around to see the others still fighting their own battles.

What was going on was anyone's guess. Sure his team seemed to be doing okay but was this really what their guild master would want? He just fought one person now he had to fight someone else....his views on this battle.

" What are we fighting for?......What is this going to accomplish?.....Why is this even happening?....What are we trying to prove? " he muttered as he held his head trying to come to terms with this ordeal.

He had lost it. He'd never taken a life before and now he was on the brink of madness.

The winged man Hiver was targeting suddenly dropped into a nose dive, easily missing the iced spear by a mile. He raised his sword and swung right when he was in front of Hiver and soared right past him after attacking; a fierce gust of wind following at his wake. The Ice Dragon Slayer would soon notice that his opponent missed his mark, but only just, and only managed to slice the side of his clothing without even touching the skin.

Korsy's elbow had made it's mark, catching the winged man off-guard and knocking the wind out of him. His captor couldn't help but let go of the Shadow Dragon Slayer and spluttered and coughed consistently. The winged man also struggled to stay airborne.

"...this can't be good," Atzaru sighed as he managed to recognize the symbols. He couldn't understand them, but he had seen some of them when Ava started classifying the late mistress' books following her demise, "why would she be writing in this language? Surely she would want other to understand it." His mutterings was partly to himself and part directed to the Grimoire as it started to flip pages on its own. As it glanced over to it again he read what he had written to him, it didn't exactly make him feel better.
"I understand, i will make sure to check it out when i get the chance. That and i will make sure to approach Ana with caution," he assured the book, only to realize that Lucas had asked what was going on and understood how weird this all must have seemed to the Rock Slayer.
"Well yes i did. This is Grimoire, a priced possession of the guild's librarian Ava Rosenberg," he explained and turned to face Lucas, "she is a bit of a special case, she is blind and sees the world through magic. It's also known that she has visions from time to time, but i haven't seen her react like this in a long time. She is also known to be cold around other so don't worry if she is like that when interacting with you, she is cold towards everybody in the guild."
He held a small break to give Lucas a chance to digest everything he had just told him before continuing, "That's what i know about her. Apart from that, i've been told that she arrived her with the Grimoire and that it is sentient. At first i was highly skeptical, but i have since learned the truth. It might not look like much, bit this book is very clever which is why it worries me that she just left it here."

The young mage still awed at the sight of his nguild mark, howeverhis attention was cut short when he saw Atzaru talking to his book. He couldn't help but wonder and ask "Uhh-- did you just talk to your book?"

After counting his funds, Felix was mostly busy with his own thoughts; primarily regarding the conversation he will have to have with Ace in the near future. Having an inkling of the vampires 'track record' Felix would need to tread carefully.

Atzaru's conversation with the newcomer Lucas was barely Felix's business... However, as it had turned out; the Sand Dragon Slayer's hunch was correct and Lucas was also a Dragon Slayer; and with a similar element or focus to boot. Interesting indeed.

He raised a brow as Ava had returned for a moment, only to frantically write something down before retreating once again... Leaving her Grimoire behind. An odd occurrence, for that wasn't something she would normally do, according to Felix's memory.

Atzaru spoke well enough, and the situation would likely sate Felix's curiosity without the need for him to vocalize anything, and so, he waited patiently.
