"Dof!" he was smacked into the ground rubbing the lump where his head was throbbing.

It wasnt really smart of him to leave himself wide open like that, his foe was correct into teaching him a painfull lesson, however he wasnt out of the woods just yet! "Sub Zero Spear!" he attempts to scewer the wingman with a piercing spike of ice.

Elora felt a sense of relief from being freed from his manipulative hold and she was quite honestly surprised that he didn't take full advantage of that. Not that she's complaining or anything, just surprised. She soon laughed, "Me? A demon? That's rich coming from the likes of you. Clearly you do not understand the process involved of curing a disease."

Her eyes widened again when she heard him yell out his next spell and soon it was clear that fear had settled in her eyes as it grew dark.
"Oh no..." was all she could mutter before the Light Caster started screaming when ravaged by the swarm of bats. She felt her skin tear and blood spray as she was swarmed upon. From the looks of it, there was also some permanent damage caused that would certain scar in the future - if she lived.
(Ace - 14)

In retaliation Elora raised her staff into the air - swatting at some of the bats along in the process - and shouted, "Sunrise Orb!"
All of a sudden, despite it being night, Elora shrouded herself with a shield of artificial sunlight. While it wasn't true sunlight, it was pretty darn close to it and caused some burning to the bats. Not enough to cause for some serious damage, unless Ace chose to stay within it for an extended period of time.
(Elora - 8 )

While Korsy's retaliation was impressive, perhaps it was the erratic flight patterns for him to miss his mark - but just barely as his shadow daggers' tips scraped along one side of the Winged Servant's cheek. Having said that, when said Winged Man tried to counter, he also missed his mark by a long shot; in a spectacular display of... being special?
(Korsy - 17
Korsy's Wingman - 3)

The angelic servant whom had Lance in his grip released him as soon as he heard the fire mage shout out his attack. But not even that could save him, for he received a very thorough tan. Burnt to ashes actually, and there was nothing left of him.
(Lance - 20
Lance's Winged Man - Dead.)

Hiver, wasn't so lucky, for when he executed his uppercut his foe was quick to dodge it with a mighty flap of his grand wings. This winged servant then sheathed his sword and then raised the covered weapon high above his head and slammed it down; clonking the ice wielder right on the top of his head.
(Hiver - 7
Hiver's Wingman - 14)

Meanwhile, Allianna grunted as she continued to build up the thickness of diamond armor that coated her body. She still had that sword lodged into her knee, but right now she was unable to do anything about it. It soon became apparent that the man holding onto her was struggling to stay airborne, let alone attack. So the two were locked in a tug-o-war of sorts, constantly ascending and descending.
(Allianna - 10
Allianna's Wingman - 10 by default.)

"About a year, give or take." Felix shrugged as he pulled out a seat to sit, it creaked a little, but he made extra sure not to break it-- besides, it was in this guild hall of all places, so it can surely take some punishment before breaking.  "Aye, I hear you..." Felix nodded as he allowed Atzaru to speak. Yes, emotions were a fickle and unpredictable thing, but emotions, however fickle they were, were still a trait of living (or even not-so-living undead) that made people... Real.

"Just give it some time, I would imagine many of your comrades might soon think of her wishes-- I doubt she would want you all to destroy yourselves or wallow in self doubt that eats away at you." Returning the pouch of money back to its rightful place, Felix pondered the answer to Atzaru's query. "I am delivering a letter of thanks... To Ace, specifically."

Hiver grinned a crooked smile, this crazy lady has succumed to Ace's ability to control others like a puppet, victory is so close he could almost taste it. "Attaboy Ace, show her who's boss!"

He wasnt prepared for Elora to put up any vallient effort, she had called upon winged men clad in white and gold armor to give every dragon slayer a free joy ride....literilty.

Hiver has a hand on his mouth to keep himself from barfing up stomach acids. How humiliating to have so much elemental power and yet fall prey to mere motion of transportation.

As if that wasnt bad enough, one of the wingmen stabbed the ice weilder within his arm threatening to shred it into piece. "GYAAAAHHH!!! Ace just finish her off already, quit wasting time!" he gritted his pearly chompers in pain.

He eventually turn himself into an ice sculpture being forced to shatter off his own arm in order to break free, of course being made of ice now he regrew his missing limb with ice magic and reverted himself back to normal.

"Freezing Arctic Fist!" he leaped back into the air to retailate against his flying foe with a nasty soaring uppercut.

Lance was just too far gone to notice anything. He sat there in the rubble untouched just like the statues. Attacks missed their mark surprisingly and his teammate's voice hardly reached him. It was like he was deprived of life himself. Coming to this mission was a mistake, one in which he couldn't walk away from now. It was too late, everything in motion. He had to ride out this storm and hope to stay alive.

Without warning he was lifted into the air by some winged man and began to be sent into a flying motion. At first Lance felt nothing and then it happened.....he began puking out small flames. He then realized he was caught in motion sickness.

" Oh god.....bleh! " he exclaimed as he puked some more. Lucky for him his attacker only cut his hair. Blinking for a second he looked up and noticed how close he was. " Hey i already had a haircut but you my friend need a tan, let me help with that. " Lance stated as he sucked in air before unleashing a wild flame from his mouth. " Fire dragon roar! " he shouted as he aimed at the wingman.

The attack from the servant snapped Kornelius back to his senses as the overwhelming pain of the attacked overcame his sickness. It severed his artery however, and he quickly pulled down his mouth cover as he started to cough up a lot of blood as well as the blood flowing from the wound. Thankfully it wasn't his aorta otherwise he would probably be dead. But now he had to act before the motion sickness came back. That was when Ace rushed time forward and night fell, something he certainly was going to exploit before it was too late.
"Shadow weave bandages." He placed his hands together and used the shadow within each to quickly weave a makeshift bandage which he then placed on the wound to contain the bleeding. It wasn't the best way to heal the injury, but he could stop himself from bleeding to death. Then he turned his attention to the man carrying him. The motion sickness was starting to come back, he had to move fast now. Sadly he could only consume the shadow produced by his captor's arms, the part that was easy to reach. It wasn't much, but more than enough to give him the boost he needed.
"Shadow Construct, daggers!" he yelled and made a gesture as if he was drawing a weapon with each hand as a dagger of pure darkness formed in each. He would have loved to punch his captor, but in his position where the wingman was behind him, he couldn't use many of his attacks and setting up for a Waxwing Flash would render him motion sick before he could complete it. So with that in mind, he gave a qualified guess as to where the wingman's body and he was based on the stab wound and quickly thrusted the daggers backwards to try and impale his captor and get free or make him land.

"I understand, while your last visit was a long time ago, news of her death traveled fast. No wonder you would come to confirm it yourself... she was a wonderful leader," Atzaru said as he too settled down at the table, "you're right, many of the members still think i and those who support me are being disrespectful by wanting to find someone to take her place. I understand that they want to grieve it, i too want to do so, but it's vital that we get going again. Even if emotions are running high and its hard to deal with."
He looked at the pouch for a bit and then shook his head with a small smile.
"I appreciate your kindness, not common to see that from mercenaries, but so far we've made it and we've just gotten a mage home with a job well done. We can keep the place running for a while, i'll just have to juggle it around a bit. It''s what i do after all. Nevertheless, if things go badly and we can't recover on our own, i might have to call you for such a favor."
Then he got a more neutral expression and leaned slightly forward, "if you don't mind me asking, what does this official business entail?"

When his enemy told him she could not give him what he wanted he lost all hope. His concentration slipped and the mind bending spell faded. Ace wasn't ready for this he was expecting to see a corpse not living remains. That short burst of life she was granted gave Ace hope to see her running the guild upon their return. Ace didn't want to live in a world without the woman he adored. As he lost his grip on Elora he stared vacantly at the cold hard ground. He placed his head against the cold hard stone as he looked into the abyss of despair. He spoke his tone was as if he was lost in thought. "You parade around as if you were an angel but to snatch hope from the fingers of the damned and desperate you're nothing more than a demon." Ace took a deep breath standing as he leaned against the diamond wall.

"I've told you night has fallen and I am the creature that lurks under the cover of darkness." He held out his palm with a complicated rune circling around his fingers. "ARC OF TIME!" He screamed as if in great pain as the time turning rune appeared on the face of the moon. "FORWARD!" He belted out as the skies grew dark and day turned to night. With the ethereal dace of the heavens pushed forward in time by twelve hours by Ace's spell night had fallen. At that instant Ace stepped out under the starry sky and gave a smug smile. "You'd be wise to abandon all hope just as I have." He held out his arms as he fell back his being exploding into a swarm of bats. The bloody thirsty swarm violently attacked Elora attempting to drink her blood and disfigure her pretty petite body. The screeching was vile and violent as if each flying mammal was fueled by nothing but revenge.

"You truly are a monster." Elora muttered before she found herself struggling in his grip, clawing at his arms as she made desperate gasps of air whilst her throat was trapped in a vice grip.

"Yes I said the cost will be high, but you keep forgetting one thing I have repeatedly mentioned. So for now, I'll forgive that since it can't be helped with your brain rotting away in that skull of yours. I still have much to learn, much to research about granting permanent life. Being able to grant life for fleeting seconds is such a milestone, but yet there is still a long way to go. Years maybe... but considering your condition, time should not be an issue for you anyway."
the Light Caster replied boldly and yet also with honesty. She could only hope that he would release her even when she still stayed true to her views on the undead.
'He seemed to also look over the fact I also said that it only works once on a person on the first attempt... and I already made that attempt in front of their very eyes. No way is she coming back... but still, I could use a little boost for my research at least.' she thought privately to herself.

All of a sudden all the winged men carrying and swaying about the slayers high above simultaneously drew out their narrow swords and drove them into the slayers' bodies. Due to the constant, abrupt flight patterns being made, results varied of where they had made their mark.

A blade went through Korsy's side from behind, severing an artery, Lance managed a close shave with losing part of his hair when the man carrying him just barely missed his neck, a thin sword dived straight through Hiver's free arm and the blade kept twisting on the spot and a weapon was driven right into Allianna's knee; right in between her diamond armor. Blood was spilled and lots of it, something that a vampire certainly couldn't miss.
(Korsy's Wingman - 18
Lance's Wingman - 19
Hiver's Wingman - 8
Allianna 's Wingman.- 12)

(Yes I called them Wingman. Deal with it.)

The diamond dragon slayer let out a shriek of agony, overcome with the feeling of pain that distracted her from her nausea. Not an ideal distraction, but it was something.
"Ace! What in the world are you doing down there?!" she yelled, completely unaware of the situation unfolding below as she struggled. What Allianna did manage to do was to thicken her armor with more diamonds to increase her weight; albeit at a crawling and inconvenient pace with hopes of slowing down the winged man holding onto her. So far, he didn't seem deterred by it at all.
(Allianna - 2)

Back on the ground Elora raised her brows at the vampire before her, "Maybe while I am researching you should be more concerned with those whom are still alive. Release me and maybe we can come to an agreement."

Desperation forming in his speech he snarled. "To hell with the cost whatever it is how ever much blood must be split I'll do it. I'll slit the throats of a thousand children bleed dry the wombs of a hundred virgins, anything to bring her back. Her last moments mean nothing. To a vampire anything less complete immortality is absolute crap!" He picked Elora up by the throat her toes unable to touch the ground. "My patience is wearing very thin. Think carefully because the moment you speak the words I can't you outlive your usefulness and my mercy will run dry. I will even bring you the Book Of Zeref if I must." He slammed her against the wall while trying to avoid the sunlight. "Now tell me what must be done."
